Not only the economy is going through a revolution but thinking itself has gone through a quantum leap and we need to address students who have become technology more sophisticated but intellectually and creatively impoverished. This is a dilemma, since the ability to communicate (language, writing, communication) and creativity are the two essential factors that will distinguish a professional, business or brand in the new economy. We can no longer educate people to follow. We must educate people to lead and to create new job definitions for themselves based on their uniqueness.

• As a dance-theatre performer, she has stage command, strong presence and charisma. She has worked in big stages, in off-broadway theatre as well as in small stages, restaurants, cafes, artists lofts and has even done performances in personal homes.

  Maria has a unique talent for engaging people and making them feel at home so that they participate. She combines humor with soulful communication tools to address an audience.

• As a shaman or Woman of Power, she has the ability to take people into deep journeys through the Inscapes of their psyche, to work with consciousness, attention and energy in order to shift perception and uplift energy. She lives in a 24/7 laboratory of conscious living, transformative awareness and exploration of her own issues, as well as observation and reflection of what is going on in the world, especially with women. When Maria finds a new understanding, tool or solution it comes from her personal usage. She then explores it in laboratory with students and clients. She keeps what works, releases what does not work or it’s too hard and develops it into systems, paths or experiential programs.

 This presentation series offers practical lessons from the Sacred Feminine School of Shamanic Wisdom to help people go from “here” (where they are) to “there” (where they want to be).

By now everybody knows about the Law of Attraction! It went from discovery to trend and slowly receded into the collective consciousness. But it did something wonderful. It allowed individuals to assume their agency as co-creators and influencers of life.

The series incorporate chapters from Maria’s inspirational novel Angelina and the Law of Attraction, ~a story embedded with shamanic practices from the Sacred Feminine School of Wisdom. These practices allow the reader ~or in this case the “rider”~ to shift their perception to transform their world.

Maria employs these shamanic tools of transformation to lead the audience through a fun and effective experiential exploration on how to develop their agency and creativity to master the Laws of Creation, Manifestation, Alignment and Resonance in order to achieve their dreams, purpose and goals in their life. ARTchemy^tm Playshop Series

 ARTchemy^tm is a system that Maria Mar created which allows for the use of arts & crafts as alchemy. Maria speaks of alchemy as a transmutation of one item of lesser quality for one of a higher quality. In this case, the “item” is any state you want to change.

Some years ago, Maria was meditating in one of the most stubborn dilemmas of personal growth.

You can’t change what you can’t see, and our oldest, strongest beliefs and programming are hidden in the deepest layers of the subconscious which are hidden from the conscious mind.

She wondered how she could make visible the limitations that were hidden in the subconscious mind when she remembered some verses from the Persian poet Rumi:

The spiritual path wrecks the body

and afterwards restores it to health.

It destroys the house to unearth the treasure

and with that treasure builds it better than before.

Maria then created an ARTchemy^tm Project that does exactly that! 

Remodel the Architecture of your Psyche uses a box to build a 3D representation of the person’s programmed limitations as an old house. The limitations against which the person is bumping become the walls of that house. 

With a bit of expert guidance from Maria Mar these limitations become evident thanks to the artifact that the person is building. The hidden limitations are more easily made not only visible, but accessible to touch and therefore, to change.

In this Playshop Series, Maria guides the participants in the creation of the Tiny House of the Past and how each type of limitation in the subconscious is expressed in a wall of that house. The participants then create a new expansive house expressing their potential; which becomes the House for their Dreams.

Maria has been working with women for more than 45 years.Throughout her career as a Scout for Goddess Leadership, she has created performances, poems and stories capturing the state of women’s empowerment and leadership.

In the last 16 years she has observed that even though women have gained great victories for their empowerment and freedom, there are several areas were they are struggling, resisting and even rejecting their advancement.

She has been on a mission for the past 10 years investigating what is holding women and women’s leadership back.

This performance series is the laboratory where Maria now wants to share her findings and help women explore their own answers to these key questions:

1. Why have women become allergic to the word “leadership”?
2. Why is there still in the 21st century not equal pay or representation?
3. Why are women not in the big stages even in fields where women are traditionally a majority?
4. Why do so many women who are doing great contribution to humanity do not really FEEL successful and have trouble establishing their value?
5. The traditional joke is that men don’t ask for help when traveling, but Maria has found that in matters of success, fulfillment and professional advancement it is women who deny themselves help, guidance and support and try to do it all alone, in spite the ability women have to collaborate. What is going on?
6. What are the Inner Wars that make a woman her worse enemy and how do we liberate the territory of our Personal Power?
