Trees are essential for our lives and our planet. But we often forget it and give them for granted. Some people are so disconnected from nature that they do not realize that if we destroy trees we destroy the planet and ourselves.

It happens that in our busy life we often need to go through pain and “get personal” with nature in order to get reconnect with the natural and sacred worlds as well as with our place in it.

And so, my healing adventure with the Poet-trees began…

In 2000 I lost my home due to a home environmental situation and found myself homeless and sick. Trees helped me heal and embrace life again after the disaster. In my healing process, I meditated with the trees in a grove outside a window as well as the trees in Central Park. These trees whispered poems and wisdom teachings into my soul. The result of this healing process was –of course, my restoration to health and inner peace– plus an unexpected bonus result: a beautiful illustrated poetry book.
