When we are  growing up as children, we are mostly dependent on others. Often, our elders do not allow us to learn from consequence, so we develop a view of the world that looks something like this:

I’ve been dropped in a world already made by others in which I have no saying and over which I have no control. If I’m to survive in this place, I must learn the rules and play the game.

Our power to choose our own path is often blocked by the adults around us. Sometimes it is truly for our own good. At others, it is due to their own fears, limitations and control issues.

As a result, the connection between our interpretations, choices, emotions and actions and the consequences they generate is a mystery to us.

In fact the only time we are told that we did something of consequence is when we are punished for doing something wrong. This disempowering training high-wires fear, guilt and judgment as consequence into our brain, but not power, creativity or Free-choice.

It’s not surprising then that as adults we do not know our own Creative Faculties. We are clueless about what we are doing or not doing that is producing the results we experience.

In any group about 65% percent or more are blamers. They blame others, the system and even the weather for their misfortunes. They are not mean. They are just trapped in a world that they perceived as not their own, a world designed by others.

But even those willing to take responsibility and do something about their lives are left with serious questions:

• How did this happen?
• Did I have anything to do with this?
• What is it that I did to create this?
• Could I have done better?
• How can I change this?
